We then stated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.queerpridedd.org\/index.php\/2026\/04\/16\/das-perverse-bleibt-politisch\/\">&#8222;The perverse will stay political!&#8220;<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dresdens Administrative Court has just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.queer.de\/detail.php?article_id=58152\">rejected the motion<\/a> of CSD Dresden against this curtailing of the right of assembly. But there is still time to appeal it at the Higher Administrative Court Bautzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For anyone who is <a href=\"https:\/\/angryqueersdd.neocities.org\/index_en\">critical<\/a> of the somewhat shallow character of the local CSD and followed the former discussions, this might not sound like big news. Nevertheless, the current decision affects far more than just a single date in the wide-ranging queer calendar. This is a gateway to further bullying by bigoted bureaucrates. This will affect small Prides with scarce resources the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Rainbow Flash at IDAHOBIT in Plauen this year was also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freiepresse.de\/vogtland\/plauen\/versammlung-oder-nicht-plauener-verein-und-landratsamt-haben-geteilte-meinung-artikel14267748\">denied the protection<\/a> as a political rally. And we just heard that city officials in G\u00f6rlitz want to deal with their local CSD in the same way. This is exactly what we predicted since the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.queerpridedd.org\/index.php\/en\/2023\/11\/15\/how-much-queer-party-can-straight-politics-stand\/\">first attempts to curb queer presence<\/a> in the public at our pride in 2021 and in the later debates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So even if we feel far from jumping into the fray in favour of CSD Dresden e.V., we must defend our right of assembly against any attempt to constrain it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\ud83c\udf08We call for CSD Dresden to keep their promise to fight this decision up to the highest courts.<br>\ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\ud83c\udf08We call for the media to depict this for what it is: an attack on freedom of assembly of queer people.<br>\ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\ud83c\udf08And we call for you all to do what queers will always be the best at: ignoring bullshit state rules and confidently take the space that is ours!
